Description

A tin of maamoul for passing round the table. Coarse semolina is worked with pure cow ghee into a sandy shortcrust, packed with an assortment of fillings and pressed by hand into carved wooden moulds before baking. Sweet, but nowhere near mithai-sweet — the filling and the ghee lead, not the sugar. The tin keeps them intact on the way and stays in the house long after.

How sweet are they?
Much less than Indian sweets. Maamoul gets most of its character from the filling and the ghee — the sugar is there to hold it together, not to lead.
How long do they keep?
45 days from the day they are packed, unopened. Keep the tin somewhere cool and dry.
I need to send twenty or more of these. Can you help?
Yes. Message us and our gifting desk will handle the list, split delivery across cities and raise a GST invoice against your PO.
Does it need refrigeration?
No. Keep it cool, dry and out of direct sun and it holds for 45 days from packing. Refrigerating actually hurts it — the pastry loses its crunch.
Is it suitable for a pure-vegetarian household?
Yes. 100% vegetarian, made with pure cow ghee, and Sattvik Certified — the first maker of Mediterranean desserts in India to hold it. It contains wheat, milk and tree nuts.
Can I send it directly to someone else?
Yes — enter their address at checkout and add a card message. Nothing in the box shows a price. For 50 boxes or more going to different addresses, our gifting desk handles the split.
